How long will it take to receive my piece?
We run production 24 hrs / day 5 days a week. Once we receive your order, it takes us 2-4 business days to produce your order before it ships. The time it takes to get to you will very, depending on how far away you are from us. We are in Mississauga, ON (near Toronto) with another factory in Largo, FL. Within most major cities in Ontario and Quebec, it is 1-2 days for shipping.
To the US: It can take from 1-5 business days to get to you. For our US customers, we try and save you money by providing a few US shipping destination which we go to once a week in Michigan and Buffalo, which can affect your turn around times by up to 1 week, depending on the day we receive your order.
Do you ship to the USA?
Yes we do! PLAK-IT® ships across the USA and Canada. For Canadian packages we ship through Purolator and American packages ship through UPS.
How is shipping cost calculated?
Shipping costs are determined based on the weight of your finished product and your location.

What is the difference between edge colour and border colour?
Edge colour refers to the finished sides (depth) of the Plak, whereas the border refers to the area surrounding the face of the print and/or trim.
In this image, the gold surrounding the image is the edge colour.
In this image, the black surround the face of the image is the border.
How long does the product last?
Now, nothing lasts forever, but we’ve been in business since 1975 and we still have pieces that look as good as new! However, the location and environment you choose to keep your product will affect its longevity. This is NOT an outdoor product!
How about irreplaceable items?
We suggest that original or irreplaceable items should not be submitted as dry-mounting and laminating are irreversible processes.
What type of image files do you accept?
We are able to accept multiple file types, however, JPEGs and PDFs are preferred.
How big can my (image) file be?
Your image should be formatted to the size you would like your print.
Is it possible to get a Plakmount that is larger than 30” x 40”?
Here at Plak-it® we do create pieces larger than 30” x 40”, however to avoid damages while in transit, we request that you give us a call to set up a pick up for anything larger.
